Billing/Financial

Stafford County Hospital accepts most insurances. We encourage all patients to see if our facility is listed as an "in-network provider" with their insurance company. Each time you receive services from Stafford County Hospital, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier. After insurance has paid their portion of the bill, SCH sends you a summarized bill asking for the remaining balance not covered by insurance. If you have questions or concerns about your insurance or bill, our billing office is open from Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to answer your questions. Please call (620) 234-5221.

Charge Description Master

Stafford County Hospital, in accordance with requirements from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services, is making the following charge description master (CDM) available to the public.

The CDM is a comprehensive listing of individual procedures, services and items billable to a hospital patient or a patient's health insurance provider, but is not reflective of what a patient actually pays.

This document only outlines standard base charges. Every patient is unique and actual patient payment is dependent upon a combination of factors including insurance and other factors.

Pricing for items and services in this file may not always reflect current pricing and is not suitable for the purposes of estimating patient liability. The listed charges do not constitute a contract. For patient liability estimates, or for any questions please contact our Business Office at (620) 234-5221.
