Stafford County Hospital has been recognized by the National Rural Health Association as a 2021 Top 20 Best Practices in Quality facility. This means our hospital was ranked in the Top 20 for quality among ALL critical access hospitals in the U.S. This ranking is determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, based on data compiled in its Hospital Index. The National Rural Health Association considers SCH to be an exemplar of best practices in all rural health care.

"Quality INDEX" Hospital Compare Process of Care Measures-All hospital in the "Index" study are evaluated across rural-relevant Process of Care Measures. Each hospital's performance across these indicators for the outstanding quality they deliver to their patients.

"Patient Perspective INDEX": Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) Measures: All hospitals in the study are evaluated across all 10 HCAHPS domains. Each hospital's performance across these 10 metrics is aggregated and ranked against rural peers national. The Top 20 CAH are recognized for the outstanding patient satisfaction they provide.
